My name is Brandie and I am a beautiful 4 year old American Bully who is also a domestic abuse survivor. Sadly my daddy didn't make it out and was stabbed to death by my mommy. My sister and brothers and I managed to escape without being harmed and were placed with a humane group who gave us shelter until we could leave the state to go someplace safe.

I've been here in VA for a few months now and the rescue feels that I am ready to start trying to find my new forever home where I will always be loved and safe from harm. I am 100% housebroken, walk well on a leash, like to ride in the car, and love to sleep in the bed with you. I am scared to death of the kitty cats here (even though they are tiny compared to me they might eat me) so while I am good with them I would prefer a home without any of them in it. I do fine with older children (10+) but am afraid of small kids... I am a little cautious when I first meet new people (I wasn't too well socialized in my other home... I was left in my crate a lot) but I warm up quickly. I am not food aggressive nor toy possessive and I have passed all the testing the rescue has given me.

I am UTD on my shots and worming and the rescue has an appointment to have me spayed (I look like I've had a few litters of puppies in my short lifetime). I have great crate manners and I am 100% housebroken.

Don't let my breed fool you... I am a sweet gentle girl who deserves a home filled with love and laughter to help me become the wonderful bully that I am. Please give me a chance and be my forever family!
